KLP Despatcher & Processing Assistant

THE ROLE:

We are recruiting for a Despatcher & Processing Assistant at our Putaruru branch to work alongside our current Sales and Production Coordinator. This is a full-time position consisting of 45 hours per week.

Key duties include:

• Despatch Coordination
• Liaising with Customers
• Customer Service
• Stock Control
• Planning and creating load out plans for carriers
• Completing relevant documentation

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally you will have:

• Sound written, numeracy and computer skills
• Familiarity with MS Office including word and excel
• Ability to communicate with both Company personnel and other stakeholders such as customers, truck drivers etc
• Forklift Licence (an advantage but not essential)

This position is primarily office based although there will be a requirement for you to complete outdoor components of the position daily. You’ll also have a positive can-do attitude, with the ability to undertake work in a safe and efficient way to ensure our health and safety, quality standards and production requirements are met.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6.30am to 4.00pm. An indicative starting pay range for this role is $24.00-$28.00 depending on your skills and experience.
